A Clovelly Halloween party ended with police ordering crowds to disperse from a beachside home and a teenage girl being taken to hospital after receiving treatment for intoxication.
Police and NSW Ambulance paramedics attended a property on Eastbourne Avenue on Friday, 30 October 2026, following reports of an out-of-control gathering. The home, which overlooks Clovelly Beach, was reportedly valued at $10 million. More than 200 people were believed to have attended, with reports that uninvited guests had climbed over a fence to enter the property. By the time emergency crews arrived, large numbers of partygoers had moved onto the surrounding roadway.
Police Shut Down Clovelly Halloween Party
Officers ordered the gathering to end and remained outside the house while attendees dispersed through nearby streets. Among the revellers were people dressed in costumes resembling police uniforms, characters from the television series Breaking Bad and basketball player LeBron James.
Paramedics established a treatment area along the street to assess intoxicated attendees. Several teenage girls were reportedly seen slumped on the grass as emergency personnel attended to those requiring assistance.
One teenage girl received treatment at the scene before being transported to Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick for further assessment. Two other teenagers were reportedly checked by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment. Despite the scale of the response, NSW Police reportedly confirmed that no arrests were made and no property damage was recorded. Officers stayed outside the residence until the crowd had dispersed.

Host Apologises Following Police Response
A host of the gathering reportedly delivered an apology note to neighbours on Saturday, 31 October, acknowledging the disturbance caused by the party. The apology followed the police intervention at the Eastbourne Avenue property near Clovelly Beach, where the large turnout had extended beyond the private residence.
Neighbourhood reactions were mixed. Some people expressed concerns about the disruption, while others defended the hosts and described the event as a gathering of young people.
Reports indicated that the party had attracted uninvited attendees, although the number of gatecrashers has not been established. The reported attendance figure of more than 200 people has also not been confirmed through an official police count.
In the apology, the hosts reportedly acknowledged the effect of the disturbance and said they had attempted to end the gathering and have attendees leave safely once the situation became apparent.
